Release 6.7 focuses on machine learning and will make usage of the first of three impressive data quality services.
You are about to publish a new yoghurt to the market but forgot to enter the dietary fibres? Modifying your data for a burger bun which accidentally weights about 10 kilos? Entering data for salty snacks with nearly no salt due to a comma mistake?
Don’t worry… we will warn you on this in the future with new innovative services which analyse your data and use intelligent algorithms to get out the most obvious error possibilities within your items. This can give you an important hint on either a possible error or also a wrong classification of your item.
WS|Publishing & WS|Approval will hit the systems on the following dates (TEST / PROD)
|FMCG||May 2, 2018 / May 12, 2018|
|Retailer Portals||May 2, 2018 / May 12, 2018|
|GS1 Austria||May 12, 2018 / May 12, 2018|
|GS1 Belgium||May 2, 2018 / May 12, 2018|
|GS1 Netherlands||May 2, 2018 / May 12, 2018|
|Generic Publishing||May 2, 2018 / May 12, 2018|
|GS1 Australia||May 3, 2018 / May 12, 2018|
Expected release scope
Check of product density
The first of the new services will use your product dimensions and the gross weight to calculate a density value. This value will be compared with other values within your classified gpc and a hint will be shown if your value derive within a specific percentage.
For instance a bottle with 1.5L of water but only a weight of 90g will get a warning as well as e.g an escalope with a weight of 8kg.
Introduction of a Dynamic UI switch in WS|Approval
In summer last year we’ve introduced a feature in WS|Publishing called the Dynamic UI. This feature is available on financial agreement. It allows the supplier to narrow down his UI to the attributes which are relevant in scope of the selected GPC code.
A similar functionality, but independent from the GPC, is now available in WS|Approval. A toggle button on the left on top of the tree navigation now allows the retailer to show either all attributes or to narrow down the UI to only these attributes which have been received by Approval with the latest CIN.
New filtering options in the report panel
Publishing now offers new filtering options in the validation report panel (the panel at the bottom which appears when validating, saving or releasing an item from the hit list or the item editor.
You now can find new toggle buttons, which allows you to display only warnings, errors, DQG warnings (if available) or the new data intelligence hints. You even can display every possible combination of them.
Clear indication of waiting tasks
The first step of many planned optimizations regarding the task list is the new task notifier.
You will get a clear hint also displaying the amount of tasks waiting in the top navigation bar. Within the next releases you will get several option which help you to better manage your tasks and which will optimize the overall user journey when working with tasks.
New clear validation icons
We’ve introduced new, clear validation icons which are used in the item editor and the hitlists. Green for no problems, orange for warnings and red for errors, also each dealing with a different, clear symbol.
Version of used eclass standard will now be submitted with the CIN message
The used version of the ecl@ss standard now is automatically inserted into the corresponding field within the additionalClassification and will be submitted to the data recipient within the CIN.
